I posted a video on my tiktok making this wrap which is my go-to girl dinner. And it ruffled quite a few feathers. Apparently the tiktok community has this understanding that girl dinner is disordered-eating. As a 2013 tumblr veteran, that era is over for me.
Also, I thought we all agreed that caesar salad, fries, and generic diet coke (hot girls boycott companies that support apartheid) is the ultimate gworl dinnerrrr. Anyways, this is MY girl dinner. I am a girl and this is what I make when I want dinner.
Ingredients
for the wrap
2 grilled chicken breasts (cut into chunks)
1 large burritto tortilla
your choice of french fries
for the salad + salad dressing
1/4 cup Tahini
3 tbsp Shredded Parmesan Cheese
3 Cloves Mashed Garlic
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
Juice of 1/2 a Lemon
1/2 cup of Mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
Salt
1/2 cup butter lettuce
1/2 cup shredded kale
Directions
To make the dressing, mix tahini, parmesan cheese, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, mayonnaise, dijon mustard, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add butter lettuce and kale. Drizzle a tiny bit of olive oil and give your veggies a nice little massage.
Pour the dressing onto the lettuce-kale mix. Mix until well combined.
Begin assembling your wrap- add 2 to 3 spoonfuls of the salad, however much chicken you want, and some fries (this is my preference but you can skip this step). Sprinkle some more parmesan cheese, and tightly roll your wrap.
Place your wrap onto a medium heated pan and toast evenly on all sides. Just until you get that crispy golden crust.
Remove your wrap from the pan and serve with french fries and voilà!
